Acceptable Use Policy

Smart Code points at servers we do not operate. This policy sets out what you may point a code at, and what happens when a code points somewhere it should not.

1.Rights you must hold

Every source behind a code must be one you own or are licensed to distribute. Creating a code for a service you resell without authorisation, or for a stream captured from another provider, breaches this policy.

2.Prohibited content

No material that is unlawful in the territories you serve, no content that sexualises minors, and no streams that exist to evade a court order or a platform ban.

3.Technical limits

Do not script the resolve endpoint, do not share one code across unrelated customers to avoid plan limits, and do not attempt to enumerate codes that are not yours. Rate limits apply per app key and per IP.

4.Enforcement

We may pause a code while we review a report. Confirmed breaches lead to removal of the code; repeated or serious breaches lead to account suspension without refund. You will be told the reason in writing.

5.Appeals

If a code was paused in error, reply to the notification within 14 days with evidence of your rights. Codes restored on appeal keep their six digits, so your customers are unaffected.
